Who works on the platform
Farmers, exporters, warehouses and carriers — each with their own task.
Before, to learn the price I drove to the market or called around, and heard different numbers every time. Now I check the quotes in the morning and decide myself whether to hold the grapes another week. Last season that kept me from selling in a hurry.
We need a specific position by region and harvest month. We filter the catalogue, contact the farm directly and agree on the harvest in advance. The chain of middlemen got shorter, and answers come faster than by phone.
We list free chambers with their temperature range and capacity. At the start of the season requests come on their own — no separate advertising was needed. The farmer sees in advance which crop there is room for, and does not travel for nothing.
